More complex projects, such as operations involving larger aircraft, flights near airports, or activities within restricted airspace, may require authorization under the SPECIFIC category.
These operations require additional preparation, documentation, and regulatory approvals before a flight can take place. As a result, planning times and operational costs may be higher than for standard OPEN category missions.
